ALPHA is a new concept of floodlights developed and patented by Keltyc
The Alpha spotlight is part of Keltyc's product strategy: Don't confuse LIGHTING with DAZZLING.
To be effective, you must diffuse the NECESSARY light where it's needed, and not engage in a sterile competition of lumens, like the previous overuse of watts... Alpha is designed to be a different, patented spotlight that diffuses light in a rounded pattern, without any special optics. It avoids over-illuminating an area and ending up with an overly bright halo and, consequently, shadows nearby. The very wide 160° beam pattern provides sufficient and uniform illumination. Mounted on a gantry or wheelhouse 4 meters above the deck, a single spotlight will illuminate a very large area. Those working below will be less dazzled. Because it doesn't over-illuminate, Alpha is lighter, as it dissipates less heat (no cast aluminum heat sinks). 3800 lumens for only 1 kilo—who can beat that? And a kilo at the top means a lot more at the bottom. Lighter and more energy-efficient, Alpha helps reduce energy consumption and therefore its carbon footprint.
Made in France by Keltyc, Alpha is available today in 24V or 230V AC.
